Frequently asked questions

What you need to know about our service.

Who is the service for?

For neighbours in England who have received a yellow council planning-notification letter and want help preparing an objection. Orders must meet our eligibility checks, including the 20-day letter-date limit and any earlier official comments deadline.

Do I need to upload my yellow planning letter?

No. You can enter the details from your yellow planning letter yourself. We’ll make clear anything we cannot check against the council record.

What if application information is unavailable?

We’ll explain what we couldn’t confirm and ask you to check the council’s application record before ordering.

Do I need to know exact distances?

No. Exact distances are not required to start. If you provide an estimate it will be described as customer-supplied and not independently surveyed.

What do I receive for £44.99?

Your personalised objection letter as a PDF and copy-and-paste text, instructions for sending it to the council, a short script for a planning meeting and an email draft for your local councillor.

Does the service guarantee an objection will succeed?

No. The council decides the application and how to consider each objection.

Who submits the objection?

You review the documents and send your objection to the council using our instructions.

Is this legal or professional planning advice?

No. We prepare documents. The service doesn’t include legal advice, professional planning advice, site visits or technical assessments.

How is this different from a generic template?

We write your letter around your concerns and the available details of your neighbour’s proposal. We include relevant planning policies we can verify.

How long does delivery take?

We’ll email your completed documents directly to you as soon as they’re ready. Preparation times vary; some cases may take up to an hour after a complete order.

What concerns can planning consider?

Examples include loss of privacy or daylight, a building’s size and design, road safety, parking, noise, historic buildings, trees and wildlife. A drop in property value, loss of a view or a private dispute usually isn’t enough on its own.

What does the factual revision include?

One correction to the facts for the same person and application. Request it within 48 hours of receiving your documents. It doesn’t cover a new application or a change of opinion.

Who can use the service?

Neighbours in England who have received a yellow planning notification letter. Our checks include a 20-day limit from the letter date and any earlier council comments deadline. Applications already decided or withdrawn are not eligible. We check whether your case fits before you pay.
